Borehole station installed in the US

August 11

Guralp Systems engineers have assisted in the installation of a multi-instrument seismic station in the US.

A single main borehole contains a CMG-3TB weak-motion sensor with a 3-jaw hole lock, connected to a CMG-DM24 digitizer module within the borehole.

The digitizer assembly includes a built-in strain relief unit to ensure that data cables are not subjected to stresses.

In addition to the main borehole, CMG-5T units were installed in specially-built enclosures nearby.
